Foundations

Simple Concrete strip plinths or block piers will be required to carry the structure. The se are not included in the price but we can easily arrange these for the customer if this is required.

Wall Construction.

External cladding whether plane board finish of semi circular profile is pressure treated with preservative. This is lined with 'Difflex 100’ waterproof and breathable membrane.

100 mmm of fiberglass or 50 mm of Jablite polystyrene board is used to provide a heat retention value of 0.5W/m2K

Floor and Roof insulation and ventilation

100mm fiberglass in the roof between joists (Heat retention U value 0.4W/m2K)and Jablite sandwiched in the floor cavity ensure the room is efficiently insulated for all year round use.

A 50mm space is left below bottom floor layer and a 10mm gap at the roof eaves allows ventilation to the materials while the Room remains airtight.

Doors and Windows

Quality pressure treated wooden doors and windows are fitted all with double glazing for heat and sound insulation.
